Church Involvement
Are you a member of a church that would like to become more involved in community services? Please consider supporting Yokefellow as a ministry partner!
There are many opportunities for local churches to help with Yokefellow’s many ministries. Churches could collect food in general – or a specific food item – on a regular basis to help stock Yokefellow’s Food Pantry. For example, one church in Lenoir has an ongoing food drive specifically for spaghetti sauce. Another option is for a church to hold a one-time Food Drive. Any help stocking the Food Pantry is appreciated!
Along these same lines, your church could conduct a clothing drive, collecting gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing to be sold at Yokefellow’s Thrift Store.

Of course, financial support is needed year-round, so if your church would like to start taking a “hunger offering” on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, all the money collected would go to feeding those in our community who do not have enough food.
Perhaps your church would like to involve its members as volunteers for any of Yokefellow’s services.
These are just a few opportunities for local churches to become a ministry partner with Yokefellow. You may have additional ideas of ways your group could help! We’re always open to suggestions.
Just call us. We look forward to talking with you and your church about the many ways to support Yokefellow’s mission!
